Neal and Roy met 4 years ago on a gay dating app called Grindr and since then they have been inseparable. Both came from a conservative Indian Guyanese Background. Their love for the Hindu Religon, West Indian Heritage and family values made it easy for them to relate to eachother, making the relationship effortless. They shared many other interests and hobbies and truly enjoyed eachothers time. Both of them have have been the first ones in their families to openly come out as gay and share their relationship with their loved ones. Neal and Roy knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together and along with the support and love of friends and family they built up the courage up to be the first within their families and community to have a traditional Indian wedding. The wedding planning process was difficult but it brought joy to the couple to know that over 600 people took the time out of their lives to celebrate their love and witness their union.

 Neal and Roy feel extremely blessed to be able to live openly and be accepted by their loved ones. It's sad for them to know that there people out there that are yearning for acceptance and are unable get it. Neal and Roy hope that their wedding helps shine a positive light on the LGBTQIA+ community. They want to educate people that it is okay for someone to be gay and that it's okay to be supportive.
