 ন্যায়ৰ বাবে তাই আদালতৰ পৰা মন্ত্ৰালয়লৈ গৈ আহিছে । এতিয়া যেন অৱশেষত তাই হয়তো আশা বিচাৰি পালে।  উচ্চতম ন্যায়ালয়ে কেন্দ্ৰ, উত্তৰ প্ৰদেশ আৰু গুজৰাট চৰকাৰক এগৰাকী ট্ৰেন্সজেণ্ডাৰ শিক্ষয়িত্ৰী জেন কৌশিকে দাখিল কৰা আবেদনৰ উত্তৰ দিবলৈ কয়।

 আবেদনকাৰীয়ে তেওঁৰ আবেদনত কয় যে তেওঁ এগৰাকী হিজড়া বুলি প্ৰকাশ কৰাৰ পিছত উত্তৰ প্ৰদেশ আৰু গুজৰাটৰ চিবিএছইৰ সৈতে জড়িত ব্যক্তিগত বিদ্যালয়সমূহত তেওঁৰ সেৱা বন্ধ কৰা হয়।  ভাৰতৰ মুখ্য ন্যায়াধীশ ধনঞ্জয় ৱাই চন্দ্ৰচুদে কেন্দ্ৰীয় আৰু ৰাজ্যসমূহলৈ জাননী জাৰি কৰাৰ নিৰ্দেশ দিয়ে, যিবোৰ চাৰি সপ্তাহৰ পিছত ঘূৰাই দিব পৰা যাব।  মুকনায়াকে জেন কৌশিকৰ সৈতে কথা পাতিছিল, যিয়ে আইনী প্ৰক্ৰিয়াৰ সময়ত তেওঁৰ সংগ্ৰাম আৰু তেওঁৰ ওপৰত হোৱা টোল বৈষম্যৰ বিষয়ে মুকলিকৈ কয়।

 গোচৰটোৰ বিষয়ে আৰু আইনী ব্যৱস্থাৰ পৰা এতিয়া তাইৰ যি আশা আছে সেই বিষয়ে এনেদৰে শিক্ষয়িত্ৰীগৰাকীয়ে কয়, ‘মোৰ গোচৰটো ২ জানুৱাৰীত ভাৰতৰ সন্মানীয় মুখ্য ন্যায়াধীশৰ আগত আদালত নং 3 ত তালিকাভুক্ত হৈছিল।  ১/ মোৰ অধিবক্তাই প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে যে মই সন্মুখীন হোৱা অধ্যায়টো সেই ৰাজ্যত হোৱা নাছিল, তেতিয়া মই কিয় নিজ নিজ উচ্চ ন্যায়ালয়ৰ ওচৰলৈ সহায় বিচৰা  নাছিলো বুলি তেওঁলোকে মোক সুধিছিল।  দুখন ভিন্ন ৰাজ্যৰ দুখন বিদ্যালয়ত বৈষম্যৰ সন্মুখীন হ’লোঁ, আৰু সেইবাবেই মই উচ্চতম ন্যায়ালয়ৰ কাষ চাপিবলগীয়া হ’ল। এতিয়া মই ন্যায় লাভ কৰি অধিক সুখি হৈছোঁ।”

  She has gone from court to ministry for justice.  Now it seems she may have finally found hope.  The Supreme Court has asked the Centre, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat governments to respond to a petition filed by a transgender teacher, Jane Kaushik.

  The petitioner said in her petition that she was terminated from CBSE-affiliated private schools in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat after disclosing that she was a transgender.  Chief Justice of India Dhananjay Y Chandrachud ordered the issue of notices to the Center and states, which could be returned in four weeks.  Muknayak spoke to Jane Kaushik, who opened up about her struggle during the legal process and the toll discrimination she faced.

  Speaking about the case and the expectations she now has from the legal system, the teacher said, “My case was listed before the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India on January 2 in Court No.3.  1. They asked me why I did not seek help with the respective High Court when my lawyers revealed that the ordeal I was facing did not happen in that state.  I faced discrimination at two schools in two different states, and that led me to the Supreme Court.  Now I am happier that I have received justice.”
