চেন্নাইৰ থ’ৰাইপাক্কামৰ আই টি ফাৰ্মত টেকি হিচাপে কাম কৰা ভাঞ্জিনাথন নামৰ এজন ২৪ বছৰীয়া যুৱকে যোৱা ৯ জানুৱাৰী মঙলবাৰে পশ্চিম মগাপেইৰৰ এখন লজত নিজৰ সংগী লোকেশ (২৫)ক ডিঙি চেপি হত্যা কৰাৰ অভিযোগ উত্থাপন হৈছে।

 পৰিয়ালৰ বিৰোধিতা সত্ত্বেও সম্পৰ্ক অব্যাহত ৰাখিবলৈ লোকেশৰ হেঁচাৰ খবৰ পোৱাৰ পিছতে এই ঘটনা সংঘটিত হয়। এবছৰ পূৰ্বে ডেটিং এপ্লিকেচনৰ জৰিয়তে দুয়োজনে লগ পাইছিল আৰু সম্পৰ্কৰ সূচনা কৰিছিল।

 যোৱা মাহত পিতৃ-মাতৃয়ে দম্পতীহালৰ সম্পৰ্কৰ কথা গম পোৱাৰ পিছতে লোকশৰ লগত নিজৰ গাঁৱৰে এগৰাকী মহিলাৰ সৈতে বিবাহ কৰাই দিছিল। কিন্তু লোকেশ তাৰ পৰা আঁতৰি আহিছিল।

 কিন্তু অভিভাৱকৰ বক্তব্য অনুসৰি লোকেশে সম্পৰ্ক বজাই ৰখাৰ ওপৰত জোৰ দিছিল, যাৰ ফলত যোৱা দুসপ্তাহত সঘনাই তৰ্ক-বিতৰ্ক হৈছিল। মঙলবাৰে নিশা লোকেশ কৰ্মস্থলীৰ পৰা ঘৰলৈ উভতি অহাত ব্যৰ্থ হোৱাৰ বাবে তেওঁৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃয়ে আমিনজিকাৰাই আৰক্ষীত এজাহাৰ দাখিল কৰে, আৰু তেওঁৰ ফোনটো চুইচ অফ হৈ থাকে। বঞ্জিনাথনও নিৰুদ্দেশ হোৱাত পিতৃ-মাতৃয়ে লোকেশৰ পৰিয়ালৰ সৈতে যোগাযোগ কৰিবলৈ বাধ্য হয়।

 বঞ্জিনাথনৰ ভগ্নীয়ে তেওঁৰ মোবাইলৰ পৰা ভইচ মেছেজৰ বিষয়ে আৰক্ষীক অৱগত কৰে, য’ত হত্যাকাণ্ডৰ কথা আৰু আত্মহত্যাৰ দ্বাৰা মৃত্যুৰ উদ্দেশ্যৰ কথা পোহৰলৈ আহিছে। মোবাইল নম্বৰটো ট্ৰেক কৰাৰ লগে লগে আৰক্ষীয়ে পশ্চিম মগাপাইৰৰ পানীৰ নগৰৰ এখন লজত মৃতদেহ দুটা আৱিষ্কাৰ কৰে।

A 24-year-old man, identified as Vanjinathan, who worked as a techie in an IT firm at Chennai's Thoraipakkam, allegedly died by suicide after strangling his partner, Lokesh, 25, at a lodge in West Mogappair on Tuesday, January 9.

 The incident occurred following reported pressure from Lokesh to continue their relationship despite opposition from their families. The two met through a dating application a year ago and initiated a relationship.

 Vanjinathan got engaged to a woman from his native village after their parents found out about the couple's relationship last month, and had distanced himself from Lokesh due to family objections.

 However, Lokesh insisted on maintaining the relationship, leading to frequent arguments over the past two weeks, as per statements from the parents. On Tuesday night, Lokesh's parents filed a complaint with the Aminjikarai police after he failed to return home from work, and his phone was switched off. Vanjinathan was also missing, prompting his parents to contact Lokesh's family.

 Vanjinathan's sister informed the police about a voice message from his mobile, revealing the murder and his intent to die by suicide. Upon tracking the mobile number, the police discovered the two bodies at a lodge in Paneer Nagar, West Mogappair.
